Guess what time it is?? Time for me to share part one of my Nordstrom Sale Haul!!! I say part one because I have ordered a few more things since my initial purchase and I want to share those things when I get them all in!! Until then you can check out what’s in these bad boys…
…one of the good things about living in Arkansas and having no Nordstrom to go to in person is that I get free shipping, free returns and pay no tax!! That means that whatever the price says an item is online is exactly what I pay for it!! I did make an exception on these items and I did pay for next day shipping so I could get them, try them on quickly and make any exchanges on sizes if I needed to before everything is sold out and y’all stuff is selling out like crazy!!! Even after all my orders I still have two items that I am stalking and hoping come back in stock in my size!! Fingers crossed y’all!! Now lets get to what I actually bought and my thoughts!!
I think Sophie was even more excited to see what I got than I was…LOL!! Ok, enough with the talk let’s get to it!!!
BAGS
First things first…this super fancy Frye Melissa Whipstich leather Hobo!!! I have been lusting after all things Frye for a few years now and when I saw this bag in the sale preview I just knew it was going to be mine. Ladies trust me when I saw that this bag is just as gorgeous and butter soft in person as it looks online. Unfortunately it had a super funky chemical smell that didn’t go away after a full day outside the box so it went back. Booooo. Final status: RETURNED.
On a whim I grabbed this Sole Society Susan Faux Leather Tote in black and after pulling it out of it’s wrapping I knew I killed it with this bag!! I am a little OCD when it comes to bag organization and I love the pockets on this bag! It’s roomy enough for my laptop and has several pockets to keep my wallet, keys, makeup bag and everything else separated. I also love that it’s structured and stands up on it’s own. I could see myself using this for travel and even for work. Plus the inside is an adorable cheetah print!! One more thing, I realized as I was putting this in my closet that I didn’t even own a big black bag, only black clutches so this bag was the perfect purchase for me!! Final Status: KEPT.
And last but not least I grabbed this grey suede Leith Suede Clutch. I have been looking for a cute grey clutch and this one seemed perfect! While I loved the suede and the color I didn’t like how bulky this clutch was. Final status: RETURNED.
WALLETS
I wasn’t planning on a wallet purchase but I know as soon as I saw this cute tiny Kate Spade New York Young Lane Wallet in black that I just had to have it. I’ve been using the same Hobo wallet for over a year now and as much as I love it I needed a change! I love the size of this wallet, it’s perfect to throw in my work bag and it fits right in my hand!! Final Status: KEPT.
SHOES
Next up is this fabulous pair of black Lucky Brielley Perforated Booties. If you remember from this post I was on the lookout for a good pair of black booties and I think I knocked it out of the park with this pair. They run true to size (I wear a size 9 normally and these are a 9) and are pretty damn comfy. These were definitely keepers!! Final Status: KEPT.
I also ordered these super cute TOMS Deia Block Heeled Booties in a Forged Iron Suede. Unfortunately for me even though I ordered my normal size 9 they were too big. I also thought they would be a darker color and I’m not a fan of the light gray. Two thumbs down. Final status: RETURNED.
I saw a few other bloggers try these Halogen Corbin Genuine Calf Hair Slide Loafers in this cute leopard print and knew I just had to order them!! They look a little weird in this pic but trust me when I say they are super cute with a pair of jeans!!! I ordered a half size up (9.5) and they fit perfectly!! Final Status: KEPT.
And last, but certainly not least I picked up these Ugg Vista Slip-On Flats in seal nubuck leather. If you know me at all then you know how flats obsessed I am. Again, these looked darker online and not right for fall at all. I would up returning them but buying another color that I can’t wait to show you later!! They fit true to size and felt nice on my sort of wide feet. Final Status: RETURNED.
ACCESSORIES
I am always on the lookout for a cute pair of stud earrings and you better bet I snatched these Kate Spade New York Bright Idea Stud Earrings up in clear/gold!! I got some clear/silver ones in the last sale in a very similar style so I knew I needed these in gold. Final Status: KEPT.
And my final purchase (of this first go round) are these Kendra Scott Rae Ling Filigree Pendant Necklaces. I love a long pendant necklace and have been drooling over Kendra Scott jewelry for as long as I can remember so when I saw these in the sale I just knew I had to have them!! I got both the gold and the silver, there was also a rose gold I considered but I don’t own any other rose gold jewelry so this did just fine for me!! Final Status: KEPT.
Alright so that is it for my first #NSale haul!! I am very pleased with all of my purchases and hope I love my next ones just as much. I;m sure you noticed I didn’t make any clothing purchases and I have to say that I wanted to but I’m waiting. I’m actually losing weight right now so I’m in a weird spot of needing a few new things but in between sizes so everything is awkward right now. Ugh. I did order a few basic sorts that were super cheap in one of my next orders and I hope they fit!! Fingers crossed!!
